There’s no amount of gaming you can do to overcome inferior feelings in social situations, but you CAN TRAIN YOUR ATTENTION and your THOUGHTS so that you are never again bothered by persistent, self-sabotaging ideas. You can goof around at Luminosity for a thousand years and never once will you suddenly find yourself with the personal power you need to go after a goal that has intimidated you into procrastination. Yet, you can train your thoughts to contain only the content that moves you forward; you can train your emotions to lift you up, and you can recondition your physical impulses to crave the thing so excitedly that nothing can stop you from making excellent progress. All the while, you will be improving your mental concentration, building better mental focus, and strengthening your mental discipline as you enhance your brain health and brain fitness. We’re going to discuss how to make sure your thoughts are not lethal to your Will. Listening to this episode could make the difference between your suffering through a life of subdued desperation vs. your daring to taking a leap of faith into a grand adventure that will truly fulfill you!
COGNITIVE HOMEOSTASIS is your enemy. The obstacles in your mind are just conditioned noise, handed to you by someone else who didn’t know any better. There’s no reason for you to remain as mentally oppressed by it as the cognitive slave who recruited you to share the chain that has enslaved others down through the centuries.

People, if you want greater mental power, you’re going to have to get into the mental workout habit and you’re going to have to do it with love and commitment and tracking and adjusting and discipline. Period. I can TEACH you all the fundamental concepts in a DAY if I wanted to, but without “WALKING THE WALK,” you really won’t KNOW what it MEANS on a physical, gut level.
