Faulty Daydreaming Off-Switch In ADHD Brain Scans
Apparently, the ADHD subjects required extra reward incentive in order to successfully carry out the required attention-demanding task. With each subject, once a high enough level of incentive was determined, there was no marked difference in attention control between the ADHD subject and non-ADHD subject. In other words, the study appears to indicate that if a person who has attention problems has a good enough reason to pay attention, they have the ability to do so.
Mental Concentration For Breaking Through Imaginary Limitations
The key to the door that unleashes your mental potential is turned by consciously gathering all your Attention together and carrying out each act with CONCENTRATION the way a Craftsman attends to detail of a painting or carving or the way the Watchmaker assembles her timepieces.
Brain Training To Stop A Wandering Mind!
Brain Training to drop the mental wandering habit! Right on the heels of a recently released Harvard University research study showing most people spend half their waking day in a daze! And that’s NORMAL people, let alone people who’ve been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). That means even when you are engaged in activities that demand all your attention, you’re STILL going off into La-La Land! Let’s talk about the characteristics of a wandering mind, the symptoms that result, and what to do about it so that you can realize more of your potential!
“My Creatively Wandering Mind – What’s The Problem With It?”
The problem with habitual daydreaming with a wandering mind lies in the fact that any great idea you might have is worthless if you don’t snap yourself out of daydreaming and TAKE CONSISTENT, CONCENTRATED ACTION to make it happen; and, carrying the idea through to completion requires enough mental control to move in a straight line from the point of conception to the point of achievement. The more our attention wanders, the less we can efficiently move along a productive, straight line of achievement.
